Enter the hall of this year’s CBC, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and you’ll be met by the team of Deutsche Beverage. CBC, or the Craft Brewers Conference is taking place May 2-5, 2022. As always, it will be a time of learning, sharing, and growing for all members of the craft beer industry. With an unmatched trade show, networking events, speakers, and seminars, it’s an event you simply don’t want to miss. We’re excited to be at CBC once again—our biggest trade show of the year!
MEET OUR CBC PARTNER
For 2022, we’ve partnered with Breweries in Pennsylvania, an organization founded by Matt Kozar and Chadd Balbi, born-and-bred Pennsylvanians and craft beer enthusiasts. They endeavor to spread the word about the excellent brews made within the state they love. Now, they are spreading that awareness to the heart of Minneapolis. They’ll be joining us in the hosting of a private event at one of our favorite Minnesota hot spots – Back Channel Brewing.
MEET BACK CHANNEL BREWING
You just can’t go to Minneapolis without making the trip to Lake Minnetonka for a crisp, cool pint of beer from Back Channel Brewing! They have nearly twenty craft brews on tap, as well as Brian, their 5.25% fruity hard seltzer.
Back Channel is a destination brewery and taproom located on Seton Channel, just beyond the metropolitan area. Their patio is the perfect place to escape the chaos of day to day life, where you can enjoy both the sips and the sights.
Back Channel Brewing is owned and operated by Josh Leddy, Melissa Leddy, Marc Makarem, Matt “Olie” Olson, and Joe Meehan. The five of them have built a solid reputation for excellent brews and patio parties.
OUR BOOTH & FEATURED BREWERY
We use the term “booth” very loosely when at CBC. We come armed with a true statement piece this year—a 20bbl brewhouse that was custom built for the folks at White Rock Alehouse. This brewery, located in the White Rock Lake Area of Dallas is beloved by the Texas locals, as well as the many tourists who find their way to White Rock Lake. As a result, White Rock’s brewery is growing to meeting the increasing demands. Deutsche engineers were ready to help the White Rock team with custom engineering solutions and the highest quality materials. They needed a system capable of reliably producing each of their nine year-round beers, as well as the many seasonal varieties they offer up when the weather dictates it is time. Deutsche said “hold my beer”! We’re so proud of the engineering feat that we’re going to unveil it before the most likeminded audience. Thanks to White Rock Alehouse for sharing their new brewhouse with the masses.
OUR CBC NEIGHBORS
If you stop by to visit, be sure that you also stop at the booth next door. Wild Goose Filling will be ready to greet you with their own sample equipment. Our sister company, Wild Goose was just a small engineering firm in 2010, but friendship with the owners of a local brewery led the Colorado natives & Wild Goose founders to develop a innovative and reliable canning line. It didn’t take long for all involved to realize that this was a solution to a problem suffered by far more than one brewery. So, in 2011, the company brought their product before the industry at the 2011 Craft Brewers Conference. They’ve worked tirelessly since to continue to improve upon their designs and will showcase their most recent adaptations at this year’s CBC.
IN CONCLUSION
These, of course, are just a few of the big names that you’ll find at 2022’s Craft Brewers Conference. So, in conclusion, make your way to Minneapolis and make sure you stop by to see us. Cheers to excellence in innovation, and to the best brews!
