Deutsche Beverage + Process Exhibits at PackExpo 2024

Join Deutsche Beverage + Process at PACK EXPO 2024! We’ll be showcasing our cutting-edge equipment for food and beverage manufacturing, including CIP systems, deaeration technology, and custom processing solutions! In this video, Monty, our Technical Sales Manager, explains why PACK EXPO is a must-attend event for anyone in the packaging and processing industries.

We’re gearing up for Pack Expo with Monty, our Technical Sales Manager. Monty, can you tell us a bit about Pack Expo and why it’s such an important event?

“Absolutely! Thanks, Luke, glad to be here. Pack Expo is one of the biggest shows in the U.S. for processing and packaging equipment. With around 2,600 vendors, it’s a prime space for showcasing equipment, especially automation and live demos. Attendees get a fantastic chance to walk the floors, learn about new equipment, and have live discussions with vendors to see if solutions fit their exact needs. This year is Deutsche’s first time exhibiting, and we’re very excited to get in front of people to expand our reach and show off our unique solutions across the food and beverage manufacturing space.”

It’s also a great opportunity for our account managers and engineers to learn about the unique demands and challenges attendees face. Custom equipment is one of our specialties, and Pack Expo seems ideal for connecting with those looking for tailored solutions.

“Absolutely, that’s one of the great things about Pack Expo – it’s not just about seeing equipment, it’s also a chance to network. We get to connect with industry leaders, potential customers, and others to discuss needs and find solutions. At Deutsche, we’re bringing a variety of equipment to showcase what we do, including custom and standard pieces. Specifically, we’ll bring a CIP (Clean-in-Place) system, a coffee steeping skid, and we’ll also have information on our deaeration systems. Though we couldn’t bring the actual deaeration skid, we’ll have literature and videos showing how it can enhance processes.”

Can you tell us more about the equipment we’re bringing and why it’s important?

“Sure! We’ll have a CIP system on display. It’s a fully automated cleaning system that doses chemicals from customer reserves, creates cleaning solutions, and automatically cleans tanks based on recipe-based automation. Along with this, we’re bringing a small coffee steeping skid, a scaled-down version of the full coffee processing systems we’re known for. This skid includes a tank, pump, and filtration setup, giving attendees a taste of our food and beverage processing capabilities. We’ll also have an HMI (Human Machine Interface) live on the CIP skid, so people can experience our automation first-hand.”

It sounds like we’re showcasing a range of solutions, from standard skidded systems to large-scale processing systems. Our CIP system seems especially exciting, given the feedback from customers who find it cost-effective and highly functional.

“Yes, absolutely. The automation in our CIP system streamlines cleaning by allowing customers to set schedules, select specific tanks for cleaning, and minimize errors. It’s designed to boost efficiency and reduce downtime. We’re proud to have this technology on display, as it gives customers the chance to see and interact with our equipment up close. The coffee skid may be smaller, but it showcases the quality of our work, the stainless steel construction, and the detailed craftsmanship that’s hard to capture online.”

And with our engineers on-site, visitors can dive deeper into our larger coffee processing projects and other custom solutions. It’s almost like a live consultation, right?

“Exactly! Pack Expo offers a chance for visitors to discuss their unique challenges. While we might not solve every issue on the spot, we’ll have resources and examples available to start meaningful conversations. We’re bringing literature, background examples, and will have displays running to showcase our large-scale work. This way, people get comfortable with what we can offer and can further the dialogue after the show.”

That’s great! So where can visitors find us at Pack Expo?

“The show is at McCormick Place in Chicago, running from November 3-6. We’ll be at Lakeside Upper Level 3, booth LU-7645. For those attending, the show app is a great tool – just search our booth, and it’ll direct you right to us. And if you can’t make it, feel free to reach out to us anytime. Follow us on social, check out our website, or contact us directly. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone there!”

What is Pack Expo, and why is it significant?

Pack Expo is one of the largest trade shows in the United States for processing and packaging equipment. It features around 2,600 vendors showcasing the latest in automation, live demos, and innovative solutions for various industries. This event offers attendees a unique opportunity to connect with vendors, explore cutting-edge equipment, and see if specific solutions meet their operational needs.

Why is Deutsche Beverage + Process exhibiting at Pack Expo?

This is our first year exhibiting at Pack Expo, though we’ve previously attended as visitors. We’re excited to expand our reach, showcase our unique solutions in the food and beverage manufacturing space, and demonstrate how our equipment can support diverse production and processing needs.

What equipment will Deutsche Beverage + Process display at Pack Expo?

We’ll be showcasing a range of equipment, including:

CIP (Clean-in-Place) System: An automated cleaning system that doses chemicals, creates cleaning solutions, and performs recipe-based tank cleaning.

Coffee Steeping Skid: A small-scale model that highlights our capabilities in beverage processing, featuring a tank, pump, and filtration setup.

Deaeration Systems: While we’re not bringing the actual deaeration skid, we’ll have literature and videos to show its benefits in beverage processing.

Why is the Clean-in-Place (CIP) system a highlight for Deutsche at Pack Expo?

Our CIP system is fully automated, allowing users to pre-program cleaning schedules, which reduces manual errors and downtime. This automation streamlines cleaning processes, boosts efficiency, and lowers operational costs, making it a valuable solution for facilities managing multiple tanks or complex systems.

Will visitors be able to interact with the equipment on display?

Yes! Visitors can experience our CIP system’s automation through a live Human Machine Interface (HMI) at our booth. This allows customers to see how the system operates, set up recipes, and execute cleaning processes directly on the show floor.

How does Deutsche’s equipment support custom manufacturing needs?

In addition to our standard skidded systems, we offer custom solutions like deaeration systems (in partnership with 3M), mixing tanks, and processing systems for various beverages. Our team specializes in designing and building equipment that meets the specific production requirements of our clients.

Can I discuss my unique processing challenges with Deutsche at Pack Expo?

Absolutely! Our engineers and account managers will be available to discuss your specific requirements. Pack Expo provides a great opportunity to start conversations about custom solutions, whether for scaling production, enhancing automation, or overcoming unique processing challenges.
